Meet our Secretary
Dominique Wilbur, originally from Chicago, IL, is a dedicated military veteran with nine years of service, including two years of Active Duty and seven years as a Reservist. She holds a B.A. in Criminology/Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), an M.S. in Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science from Saint Leo University, and an M.A. in Sociology from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU).
Dominique was inducted into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. under the Luminous Lambda Omega Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Spring, TX on November 12, 2021. She has served as the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) representative for her chapter from 2022 to 2024, a role in which she has found great fulfillment and growth. Her commitment to the organization and its values is unwavering, and she looks forward to reaching new heights in her service.
Passionate about helping the community and empowering the youth, Dominique is deeply involved in various initiatives that aim to make a positive impact. She believes in the importance of giving back and is dedicated to fostering environments where young people can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Currently, Dominique serves as the Inaugural Recording Secretary for the NPHC in North Houston. It is a great honor for her to hold this position, and she approaches her responsibilities with diligence and enthusiasm. Her goal is to contribute significantly to the organization's mission and to support the leadership team in achieving their objectives.
Dominique’s journey is marked by a strong sense of duty, both in her military career and in her community service. She is committed to making a difference and inspiring others to do the same, continually striving to be a role model and a positive force in the lives of those around her.
